The Mickels arrived in Thailand in 2003, having spent many years in London - with a background of working with the elderly, those on the edge of society and addicts/alchoholics.
Stefan, originally from Germany, spent many years teaching music and working with the homeless.
Tina has many years of experience in nursing, having come to the UK from Malaysia.
Tobias is three, and has become a great asset in opening up the hearts and homes of families in Chiang Mai.
